TOPIC: Status of the Current Job Market
You’ve heard rumors of the “R” word – you know: recession. “They” -- the people who know the technicalities of the economy -- don’t seem to agree on whether we are in a recession now or not. One thing we do know: The job market has changed – and it’s a little more challenging to find a new position these days.
Joe Perzel won’t give us the answer to the question of ‘are we in a recession?’, but he will provide us with some information about the current job market. He will also share some strategies for finding a new position in times like this. br> All are welcome! There is no cost for this networking session. Remember to bring your business cards, resumes and PDA’s for informal networking before and after the sessions. |
